The way it behaves and obeys you later on will depend on how you provide it with proper . Your dog also depends on your guidance, dog training ability, and leadership. Let me give you a story about house training a pup.

My first cousin has had a pair of one particular dog breed. One night the bitch gave birth to two puppies. One of them he gave to my dad. The other one, he trained till it became an adult. One summer vacation, I was given the chance to visit his family. They have owned a bazaar which gives them a lot of profit. There were times during my stay with them when I volunteered to make shift their shop. At first I didn't know how they managed it for it was quite big. Anyway, one day as I was busy cleaning up the mess inside the shop, I almost fell on the floor - gracious goodness! In front of me was a huge black dog standing and carrying a small basket on its mouth.

I didn't know what to do. When I had composed myself back, I remembered it. It was the brother of our dog and I had seen my cousin giving it proper . So I tried getting the small basket from its mouth and as expected it didn't harm me for it knew me already. Inside the basket was a letter from my cousin who was at home by that time giving me some orders. As i was doing the orders it was just in place waiting for me to comply them. I put in the basket all the stuffs my cousin wanted and put the basket back to its mouth.

I watched it as it left the shop. (By the way, the store was ten meters away from my cousin's house.) Whenever it encountered some obnoxious dogs along its way home (it put the basket first on the road and got rid of its enemies and picked it up again), i had seen how it managed to get home safe and sound. Wow, very successful dog training. Indeed, a good new start of training your puppy will result to countless happiness and praises.
