If you are still undecided or don’t have any plans yet it is high time you get things started. What things do you need to keep in mind? First, make a distinction between want and need.
Want is something your dog lover pal can live without but doesn’t want to live without. On the other hand, a need is something vital for survival. The best way to find out what your dog lover friend really needs or wants is to think that you are that person.
Dog needs include food, bed, shelter, collar, leash, etc. You might opt to give what your dog lover friend wants because his or her pet might have the sufficient dog needs. So if you would go for the wants then the choices are endless. You just have to unleash your creative mind to find that perfect gift.
For surprising results try something new and original. One thing that the owner and the pup would enjoy is a spa treatment. It is so relaxing that they can only muster a sweet thank you in words or through a bark. You can also try giving them mementos like home decors with pup designs such as decorative plates, wall hangings or posters, even wind chimes, animal figurines which has the specific breed of dog your friend has, door and floor mats, pillows, towels, and blankets in various canine designs.
Actually you can give anything that has a canine design. For an additional personalized touch you can try giving your dog lover pal sweaters and mugs with a picture of them and their pet. There are a lot of online retailers who specializes with these products. You can even add personal messages in this case.
You can also go for e-books on personal dog training to help your friend become a better trainer and toys like a chew toy would be great. A gift certificate to a large pet supplies store is another one. Don’t get the impression that you can save the thinking time for this and become a hasty giver.
In fact this is a great opportunity for your friend to bond with the dog while shopping plus you are giving your friend the freedom to choose for its pet. Then you won’t spend lots of time thinking whether he or she likes your gift because your friend gets to choose personally.
If you have that artistic sense you can give a drawing or portrait of your friend with its pet. It will be cherished forever not only by your pal but you as well. Finding the right gift isn’t suppose to mean that you have to spend so much because what you might be looking for is just around the corners or from your own creative hands.
As what other people says, “it’s the thought that counts”. Really it is! Whatever you can come up with this coming Christmas, make sure that you give it from your heart. Everything else will just follow and come out smoothly. The important thing is that you remembered your dog lover friend and its canine pet and that what counts the most.
