I have this friend that knows this guy, who's daughter is the only one in the theater club she joined, that doesn't own a dog. The reason behind that is she's got this allergic reaction to pooches. That may sound like nothing nobody would care about, but this girl isn't a nobody (not like most people). One thing about her is that she doesn't like feeling left out – being the only one without a
didn't make her feel part of the “group”, so she often felt sad when she thought about from time to time. One day, the guy that my friend knew met a breeder of hairless dog breeds, and was told that it could be possible that his daughter was only allergic to pooch hair.
The guy then told his daughter, and they went to the breeder to check it out. The breeder guaranteed that they could give the pup back if the girl were to have any allergic reactions, free of charge. But she didn't, cause she's been keeping the
for almost a year now, and hasn't suffered from any attacks whatsoever. Anyways, what about you my friend? If you're the type of guy that's allergic or asthmatic to canine hair, then a hairless dog breed just might be right for you. Aside from not getting any “reactions” to this type of pooch, what are the other advantages of owning an awesome hairless dog? First and foremost, they don't shed fur – why? Obviously because it doesn't have anything to be shedding in the first place.
This makes them ideal for indoor living; you won't be having to worry about the mess a hairy canine would leave behind. It also makes grooming a lot easier. Another plus for this type would be “huggability” - owners of a hairless dog claim that they have this “feel” to them that's “nice in a strange way”. They just love how no hair gets into their eyes, mouths, and nose while doing so. One thing that's also great about it is the “unique look” it packs, catches a lot of attention – it's not everyday that you see a “coatless” pooch, yeah? If you were a loser in high school with nobody giving you any attention, things will be different with this type of pet – strangers will be walking up to you and paying your pet compliments, which is one way you can actually make a friend.
If you're a single male loser, then there's a possibility that'll change as well. Guys, imagine the ladies walking up to you to talk to your pet; they'll be so focused on the “uniqueness” of your hairless dog that they wouldn't even notice themselves giving you their numbers (say goodbye to the lonely nights). The last advantage would be that they're physically healthier than most of the other dog breeds out there – as claimed by many
everywhere. You know what that means yeah? It means that you won't be paying visits to the veterinarian as often as you would with other breeds.
There are different breeds of hairless dogs, so pick the one that you feel is best for you.
