The "Royal" Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog

Tags: , , ,

People said to have “blue blood”, as we all know, are descendants of some royal family – the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog has such included in its name not because it has descended from some royal canine family, but because it has this majestic look and “aura” to it. The “Alapaha” in its name is actually the name of the river where it was bred nearby, which is located in Georgia. Now that you know a little about its origin and that it's not a member of any royal family in particular, let's talk about its figure – the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a ; it can weigh up to 100 pounds and stand as tall as 25 inches.

My opinion of their physical build is slight bulkiness with a dash of the athlete pooch's body, but very well-muscled all around. This is a very strong animal that was usually used for all kinds of jobs expected from a working dog. Down in its hometown (Georgia), it was made to watch over the plantations while the humans there carry on with their work, eat, sleep, or whatever they were busy with at the time. Despite its macho structure, it proved itself to be really flexible – it could make quick turns and “bend” itself as if it were a .

Not only that, it also packed loads of stamina; this made it capable of working long hours without tiring easily. Personally I think that the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, in the aesthetic sense, is cute and adorable – I'm sure many out there that actually seen this rare dog breed would feel the same. This pooch's field of expertise isn't just limited to labor and watching over plantations; they make fantastic house pets. They are very lively and playful and get along well with its human owners. They are very affectionate and would just love to hang around and feel adored by you.

The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog has the natural instinct to serve and protect its family – similar to the function of the police, only “they” are paid to do so. Apparently this pet has the tendency to be passive – meaning it doesn't engage into acts of aggression unless pissed off by another animal or stranger. Again its a very tough and strong dog with the “mean look”, making warding off strangers with “cruel intentions” easy. One look from this pooch can make an intruder shake in fear or wet his pants - the best is one that prevents any heinous acts from happening in the first place.

Owning an Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog requires responsible pet ownership and the right canine obedience lessons. It should begin as early as possible, preferably while it's still a puppy, so that it'll absorb what your trying to teach it a lot faster. As it gets a little older, start using proper dog training methods on it – this shouldn't be too hard because of its superior intelligence and if you know how. With that said, do you feel that the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is the right dog breed for you?
